Roger is both an artist and adventurer. He is the only photographer to have circumnavigated Greenland in a helicopter 3 times, he has sailed through the Drake Passage twice to get an intimate experience with icebergs and penguins in the Antarctic Peninsula, walked into Alaskan river streams with grizzly bears, laid down beside a mother cheetah and her cubs, and has camped with emperor penguins in Antarctica in -40 degree weather on multiple occasions for over an entire month.
His aerial photography depicts mother earth from a straight down point of view. Each photograph is a moment in time, and part of an ephemeral and eternal dance of mother earth’s majestic beauty and power, which has been created over 4.5 billion years. See more on www.rogerfishman.com
